My name is Kevin Rittershaus I am a freelance web developer and owner of North Shore Web Design and Development. I have been developing websites for 4 years. I am self taught. My knowledge base focuses on design trends, developing web-sites using CSS, XHTML, WordPress. I hand code my sites and use Photoshop as my primary graphics software. An advantage to being self taught is that I have learned that there is always more than one way to find a solution. Over the past year, I have begun developing websites using WordPress as a CMS. WordPress is a powerful open source Content Management System (CMS) – it used to be considered only for blogs but that opinion has changed. WordPress allows a client to edit, delete and add pages and posts without the need of HTML or CSS knowledge.
