My name is Kevin Rittershaus I am a freelance web developer and owner of North Shore Web Design and Development. I have been developing websites for over 5 years. My knowledge base focuses on design trends, developing web-sites using CSS, XHTML, WordPress. I hand code my sites and use Photoshop as my primary graphics software. Over time,  I have learned that there is always more than one way to find a solution to a problem. Over the past year, I have begun developing websites using WordPress as a CMS. WordPress is a powerful open source Content Management System (CMS) – it used to be considered only for blogs but that opinion has changed. WordPress is used by over 14.7% of Alexa Internet’s “top 1 million” websites and as of August 2011 manages 22% of all new websites. WordPress is currently the most popular CMS in use on the Internet (W).
